Pokémon Sun & Moon Starter Evolutions And More!

For all us Pokémon fans who are fed up of Niantic screwing up PokémonGO and actually want a tangible game to play that works we have Pokémon Sun and Moon to look forward to releasing November 18th (or November 23rd for the EU).

And today we got more information on the games in video form. Finally we get the first set of starter evolutions for Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio, as well as more details on the evolutions and were they might be going for their third an final evolution.

From the video the most interesting thing that came out of it, besides the stater evoltions of course, was the  Poké Pelago a new take on the Pokémon Boxes and the way you and your Pokémon interact through it. It states:

“Pokémon that have been placed in Boxes can enjoy. Poké Pelago consists of a variety of isles where Pokémon can go exploring, play on athletic equipment, and enjoy other fun activities. If you send many Pokémon to Poké Pelago, you can develop the facilities on your isles—and develop new kinds of isles as well. As these isles are developed and increase in number, you’ll be able to do things like obtain items or raise your Pokémon.

Pokémon visiting Isle Abeens, which you can visit from the start, may sometimes choose to join your party. A Pokémon that displays a heart icon in the bubble above its head has taken a liking to you!

In Isle Aphun, which you can use once you develop it, you may be able to obtain valuable items”.

It is nice to see a feature that has been just a side note for the longest time, they improved upon the boxes in X & Y and Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire but not like this. Interacting with the Pokémon in your boxes, and for breeders, the mass amounts of rejects and duplicates.

Not only that but sending them on adventures that you can gain items, such as evolution stones and more most likely, it is nice to know they are improving the game as well as making it utterly insane and fun.

  1. Honestly, I’m kinda disappointed that the leaks final evolutions are probably true. Litten was my favorite, but it looks like they’ve managed to make another Fire/Fighting Pokemon haha. Even if it’s not Fire/Fighting, I’m just not a fan of the final stage– I’m probably going to pick Rowlet. Great post!
