Windows PS Now App Updates with Dualshock 3 Compatibility

Sony has finally passed through a new update to it’s Windows PC PlayStation Now app so all those who own Dualshock 3 controllers from the previous console generation of PlayStation 3 can now play with them with there full functionality.

Only those with a Dualshock 4 controller/s were previously able to play games via the PS Now app. Now those who have not bought in to the newest generation, or got themselves a Dualshock 4 can use their Dualshock 3 controller/s along with it’s SixAxis motion support to play their favorite games on the PC version of PS Now to their hearts content.

As testing this feature stands now however the Dualshock 3 controller only works with a wired connection, this may change in the future, here’s hoping for wireless functionality within the year.
